This training was developed for elementary educators (teachers and early childhood educators) in Ontario. It explores the impact of children's exposure to woman abuse, educators' legal obligations to students who are exposed to woman abuse, and how educators can make a difference in the lives of such students.

You will have 3 months access to complete this training.

There are two versions of this course.

  • elementary school teachers: for elementary school teachers
  • DECEs: for early childhood educators working in kindergarten classrooms

Cost

  • Courses are free for ETFO members.
  • $39 for DECEs who are not ETFO members.
  • $49 for teachers who are not ETFO members.

Please note: You may qualify for some professional development funding through your union or organization. If you do not belong to ETFO and you need financial assistance in order to take this course, please contact learning@springtideresources.org.
